LOOKING AT CORRUPTION THROUGH VIRTUE ETHICS; BY LIBERALS

Corruption is a great menace in Kenya and most of the underdeveloped countries. There has been a lot of fight against corruption yet there has been no any tangible fruits. This situation leads us to ask ourselves many questions: Could it be that we are focusing on the leaves and other outward manifestations of corruption and not its roots?

If this were the case, then this fight will be lost. In this group we intend to address Corruption from a Virtue Ethics perspective showing that the four cardinal virtues and other virtues that comes under them are needed to eradicate corruption. Corruption has been acquired as a vice and we need to relearn it as well as learn the virtues that goes with integrity such as honesty, respect, love and so on.
